Very important: the cigarettes on sale at our site are
for personal use only. Reselling the products may be a criminal offence.
Q. Can I buy cigarettes by international mail?
A. Buying cigarettes by international mail is legal, as long as it is carried out
in accordance with international postal regulations and standards: the contents of the
parcel must be stated for the destination country postal authorities.
Q. Can cigarettes by international mail be sold without import stamps?
A. Cigarettes can be sold without import stamps and may carry the wording
"duty free sales only" providing they are sold from a FOREIGN TRADE ZONE like in
the case of the cigarettes we sell.
Q. What is a "Foreign Trade zone"?
A. The best example for a Foreign Trade zone is a "bonded warehouse". In
the bonded warehouse arrive cigarettes directly from the producers and there no taxes are
applied. Taxes are applied only when cigarettes reach the market It's why we can
offer cigarettes at a so low price. Upon arrival at the destination customs, products are
taxed only when their value exceeds a certain threshold (generally in the range from 25 to
50 ). Sometimes no taxes are applied also when these limits are exceeded.
Products purchased by international mail, provided their value is low, for
the moment are not subject to taxation.
Consequently, foreign trade zone sales, while fully respecting international mail
laws and regulations, can exploit this transitional phase and make the most of the custom
authority's inability to face the new situation. This means that products can be marketed
at extremely competitive prices. We assure all our Customers that our sales are absolutely
regular because are made in cooperation with Swiss Customs Authgorities and Swiss Post. For

Q. Do you deliver by couriers?
A. No. We work with the Swiss Post only. If someone asks the delivery by
couriers we can do, but the final cost of cigarettes will not so competitive like
with Swiss Post
Q. Can I track my parcel by means of its number?
A. No. Swiss Post cannot track the parcels
Q. I ordered a carton of Marlboro, "Free" Air
Mail to the USA a fortnight ago. Why haven't I received the parcel yet?
A. The Air Mail delivery times shown on the General Info page are the average,
indicative times required for delivery (6 to 12 days to Europe and the Mediterranean area,
14 to 28 days to the rest of the world). Sometimes the delivery times may be either longer
or shorter.
Q. I have ordered several cartons but received only one. Why are they sent separately?
A. Yes. The cartons are shipped on the same day but only rarely reach destination
together. The time between the first and the last delivery is in average 2 to 3 days in
Europe and the Mediterranean area and 5 to 10 days in the rest of the world. You are more
likely to receive all the cartons on the same day with "Priority" mail.
Q. I ordered a carton of cigarettes, "Free" Air Mail to New
Zealand thirty days ago. Why haven't I received the parcel yet?
A. The average delivery times shown on the General Info page are based on the data
and statistics provided by Swiss Post and refer to the countries to which mail is more
commonly sent. Unfortunately, we do not have accurate data accounting for the postal
systems within each country. As concerns the New Zealand, for example, most parcels reach
their destination after two weeks. Sometimes however, "transit time" can be
longer
Q. What happens if I am not at home when the parcel arrives?
A. There are two possibilities:
- Insured Registered mail. In this case, the parcel can only be delivered to the addressee
or to another person (e.g. a member of the family, a colleague, a porter, etc.) who will
sign a receipt. If no-one is home, the postman will leave a note. The parcel can be
collected from your local post office with no additional charge. Please note that this
standard procedure may be slightly different in your country.
- Air Mail "Free" and Air Mail "Priority". In this case, no signature
is required to deliver the parcel. Consequently, the postman will leave the parcel in your
mailbox (providing it is big enough to contain the parcel, i.e. 18 x 28 x 3 cm).
Otherwise, the postman will leave a note and you can collect your parcel from your local
post office with no additional charge. Please note that this standard procedure may be
slightly different in your country.
Q. What does "Each carton separate delivery" mean?
A. Example: if you order five cartons of cigarettes at once you will receive five
separate parcels. Each parcel will be shipped immediately and not extended in time.
Q. Why can't you send me a single parcel?
A. Because it would be subject to duty since the weight and value would not fall
within the prescribed international parameters.
Q. Is the package tough enough?
A. Yes. The package consists of a stiff cardboard "book size" carton
specifically designed for being sent by mail. The carton is placed inside a plastic
covered padded paper envelope. In this way, we can be certain that your cigarettes -
including "soft packs" - will reach you in perfect conditions.
Q. Can parcels be opened for postal inspection?
A. No. The parcels are sealed. The content is indicated on the parcel for use by
the Customs Autorities in the country or destignation according to the agreements between
us and the Swiss Customs Autorities. Tobacco importation, limited to 200 cigarettes, is
not subject to taxation.
Q. What information is written on the parcel?
A. Your address and order number. Our address. Description of the contents, for the
Postal Authorities:
Q. Is it common for the parcels or some of the packets to be stolen?
A. No. We have never heard of this happening but we have in any case taken this
event into consideration since we send products to all destinations world-wide. Our
parcels appear to contain a book from the outside, given the handy "book carton"
containing ten packets of cigarettes.
Q. What should I do if I believe my mail could be stolen?
A. Ten packets of Marlboro may be much more appealing to a thief than a newspaper
or a bottle of milk standing on your doorstep. Consequently, for maximum saving without
using the Insured Registered mail option, we recommend you use a suitably sized letterbox
(parcel size: 18x28x3 cm). If you do not trust the postal service in your country, we
certainly recommend you use the Insured Registered mail option. Swiss Post guarantees
complete return of the entire sum (cost of the product plus mailing costs).
Q. Can I pay by postal order or by cheque?
A. No. You can only pay by credit card or bank transfer.
Q. Is it safe to send you my credit card information?
A. Yes. The SaferPay site is certified and implements the SSL system released by VerySign/RSA Data Security, Inc.
Q. Can I made telephone orders?
A. No. You will need to fill out the Order form to place your order.
Q. Can I send you my credit card details by fax?
A. Yes, you can. Simply follow the instructions on the Order page.
Q. Will bank transfer expenses be charged to the buyer?
A. Yes. All bank transfer expenses will be charged to the buyer. Please make out
your bank transfer including the "Our Cost" caption to send the net amount
without transaction costs charged to the addressee. The cost of cigarettes must arrive to
our account net of banking expenses
Q. I made out an online credit card payment but I no longer want to buy.
What can I do?
A. If Swiss Post already collected your parcel we can do nothing. You must wait the
delivery and on arrival refuse the parcel. Money will be sent you back when your parcel
will be redelivered to our warehouse in general after 30/40 days
Q. Do you sell other brands of cigarettes in addition to those
advertised at your site?
A. No. The only brands we sell are shown on the Home and Order pages.
Q. Will you be offering other brands in the future?
A. Yes. The number and type of available brands may change in time.
Q. Are the cigarettes you sold first choice?
A. The cigarettes we sell are of the highest quality available on the market, made
in USA, in Switzerland, in the EEC, in Englang, in Germany.
Q. Are imported cigarettes always subject to duty taxes?
A. No. Duty tax is not charged for buying and importing up to 200 cigarettes at a
time.
Q. Do you guarantee that no duty will be paid world-wide?
A. No. Some countries may occasionally not apply the international postal
regulations and standards.
Q. What should I do if I have to pay duty tax to receive the goods?
A. This could be in line of principle. Since we cannot guarantee that duty tax will
not be charged world-wide, you can:
- pay duty tax and collect the parcel;
- reject the parcel which will be returned to us and ask for your money back.
Q. Must i pay mailing expenses if i return the parcel to the sender?
A. No. The sender will be charged for mailing expenses.
Q. Will you refund me immediately?
A. No. The money will be reimbrsed when the package is received. Approximately
after 35/40 days
Q. Is selling cigarettes internationally by mail an approved activity?
A. Yes. Our activity was approved by the Swiss Post and Customs Authorities. We
work under their control and with their co-operation.
Q. Is buying cigarettes by international mail legal?
A. Yes, as long as it is carried out in accordance with international postal
regulations and standards. The contents of the parcel must be stated for the destination
country postal authorities.
Q. Can the Customs Authorities of my country confiscate the parcel
containing cigarettes?
A. No. The parcel is mailed in the fully respect of international postal and
customs regulations, specifically:
- the contents is indicated on the parcel, for use by the Customs Authorities in the
country of destination according to the agreements between our company and the Swiss
Customs Authorities.
Consequently, confiscation would be illegitimate.
Q. Could I be fined or sanctioned for purchasing duty-free cigarettes
online?
A. No. It would be an arbitrary, illegal act, since the parcel is mailed in the
full respect of international postal and customs regulations, the "fine" or
"sanction" should this be applied would be send to the sender and would involve
the Customs and Postal Authorities in the country from where the mail was sent.
Q. Is reselling duty-free cigarettes against the law?
A. Yes. This is against the law in all countries world-wide.

No, Swiss Customs receive only the list with the number of cartons delivered

lost, stolen or damaged?

A. No. The credit card details only follow the regular cashing procedure. The
details are not stored for subsequent purchases.

online to others?
A. Absolutely not. All personal information will be treated according to the
Swiss Law, Article 12, paragraph 3, of the Swiss Data Protection Act. The data could not
be disclosed even upon an official request submitted by foreign country authorities.
